Police announced this crash at 8:20 p.m. and said crews had to shut down the majority of the northbound lanes in order to accommodate the scene clearance process and officers’ investigation. One lane stayed open to allow for the flow of traffic.
During these closures commuters were advised to take Fitzsimons Parkway leading to Peoria Street as an alternative route. Officers lifted all lane courses a few hours later at 10:25 p.m.
While the exact cause of this crash has not been disclosed, officers confirmed that no one suffered any serious wounds.
