DENVER, CO – A scooter rider was rushed to the hospital with a serious injury after they were struck by a vehicle in the Regis area Tuesday night.
This collision happened at the Federal Boulevard and West 49th Avenue intersection, Denver Police said, indicating they arrived at the scene after 9 p.m.

Officer said the driver remained at the scene and said they shut down the southbound lanes of Federal to accommodate the investigation and crash scene clearance investigation.
Authorities have not mentioned any pending criminal charges or citations.
