BRIGHTON, CO – A man sustained severe wounds and then passed away after getting hit by a Chevrolet Silverado while walking on I-76 West before 5 a.m. Tuesday.
This collision happened between Bromley Lane and Bridge Street, according to Brighton Police. The driver, a 38-year-old man, immediately pulled over onto the shoulder and notified police.
The motorist, who was unimpaired, cooperated with investigators and did not sustain any injuries.
The Adam’s County Coroner’s Office will release the victim’s identity as soon as authorities notify his family of what occurred.
