AURORA, CO – A man operating a motorcycle lost his life when he collided with a driver of a vehicle turning at East Quincy Avenue and South Buckley Road Wednesday.
Aurora Police said the motorcyclist was traveling west on Quincy and suspect that either the driver or motorcyclist was speeding when the collision unfolded.

The initial investigation shows the motorcyclist was heading westbound and the driver of the other vehicle was turning when the two collided in the roadway.
Officers said the biker succumbed to fatal wounds at the collision site, while the driver, a woman, was sent to a hospital for minor injuries. The man’s identity will be confirmed by the Arapahoe County Coroner’s Office pending notification of next of kin.
Authorities arrived at the scene around 2:30 p.m. and shut down westbound Quincy along Buckely for the standard scene clearance and investigation period. The area has been cleared since.
