DENVER, CO – One motorist had to go to a hospital after their vehicle was struck by a driver who fled the scene along City Park Sunday.
This collision happened before 10 p.m. at the East 18th Avenue and Colorado Boulevard junction, according to Denver Police.

After arriving at the scene, officers shut down northbound Colorado Boulevard and 17th Avenue.
Officers started an investigation but have not released other information at this time.
