WHEAT RIDGE, CO – Fire crews are currently at the scene of a vehicle fire on I-70 East near Clear Creek Drive and 32nd Avenue, putting out a fire.
Due to the severity of this incident, two lanes on I-70 East are currently closed, the Denver 7 Traffic team reported. Drivers are currently going at a rate of 11 to 22 mph.
Officials have not specified when the scene will clear or whether anyone was injured or hospitalized, or confirmed whether the fire was caused by mechanical issues or a crash.
