DENVER, CO – A motorcyclist was hurt in a collision involving a semi-truck Monday afternoon in southeast Denver, reports CBS News Colorado.
The accident impacted traffic in both directions of South Parker Road between East Iliff Avenue and South Dayton Street. It was first reported at around 12:15 p.m.
At this time, it’s unclear how the motorcyclist came to be involved in the crash with the semi, but a power pole was downed during the incident, causing a power outage in the area, confirmed Xcel Energy officials.
It’s unclear whether anyone is expected to be charged following the crash, but an investigation remains underway.
